How to cool down old laptop

we will see how we can decrease the temperature of our laptop. Normally it happens that the laptop gets heated too much.

Using below tricks you can reduce the heat generated by the laptop.

I will show you step-by-step guide to open a laptop. Then look at CPU fan. Remove the fan. Clean the fan and apply the thermal paste on the CPU. Reinstall the fan.

Let's begin with opening the laptop. Please google how to open laptop of your model till you separate the motherboard from laptop body.

Remove the screws and open the fan

As you see the dirt collection in the air vents. Clean the vents with brush.

Use oil for making the fricton less at the sides of fan.

Use Acetone or rubbing spirit or any cleansing agent to remove the dried thermal paste with help of earbuds.

After applying paste assemble back the fan and fit the fan on the CPU with screws.

Put the motherboard back into laptop casing and VOILA!!

Your Laptop is as good as brand new.
