An Android smartphone can either be updated automatically or
manually. In case of automatically, one can update his/her phone and tablet
from the settings, where they can just tap the update button. Updated software
can result in improved performance and bring a lot of latest features, and it
is also helpful in keeping you safe from different security threats.
If any latest update is available for your phone, then you
will get it in the settings menu of your device or tablet. Whereas, just
because there is a new version available in the market, it doesn’t guarantee
that it will be available for your device as well. It is entirely up to the
fact that which phone do you possess. Unluckily, right after the two years, you
will notice that updates are now becoming rare. Manufacturers are not under any
obligation of supporting updates for the older devices. Whereas there are
different best android apps blogs available, which provide step by step
information about updating your phone.

1. Backup your data
First of all, backup your entire phone’s data as a
precautionary measure like contacts and photos. Well, updates don’t affect your
personal data but who knows.
2. Enter Setting
Tap the setting menu in your smartphone and enter into the
menu. In most cases, you can simply find this option in your notification bar,
otherwise just search it in your home menu.
3. About Phone
Now look for an option named as About Phone, once you find
it, tap it and enter into the about option.
4. Software Update
There you will find an option of Software update or
something other similar to that, click it, and next procedure will start in no
time.
5. Search for an
update
Now your phone will start to search any latest available
updates. If it doesn’t turn out like this and you navigate to some other menu
then just check some other software update button and click it. If there would
be an update, then it would just ask you to install them. Otherwise, it will
tell you that your device is already updated to its latest version.
There is one more thing to keep in mind, never try to
download updates via mobile data, and always download them with Wi-Fi
connection, as the size of the file could be very large. So if you will
download it via mobile data connection than it will cost you a lot amount of
money.
After the completion of installation, enjoy your phone with
