Technology is advancing very rapidly and the number of people use smartphones is increasing. Now days Many smartphone companies embed their phones with android OS which make it to be operating system that many smartphone users use it.

Android is a google product and it is open source software where the companies can use it and they can make some modifications on it. This has made the OS to be used by many worldwide.

Phones that use android are affordable compared to the iphones smartphones. Since google is allowing any smartphone to use the OS this has lead to the companies which produce low qualities and cheap price phonies to have the market for most low income earners.


 This situation has resulted in increasing the number of smartphones which use android as operating system. In third word countries there smartphones brands which are unknown and not marketable to large part of the world especially in developed countries. But those brands are doing well in low income countries.

Iphones operating system the OS which can challenges the Android is specifically designed for devices manufactured by Apple Inc. Thus no third part companies can use IOS for their smartphones which is different with Android.

Now here come the question, will this domination persist for a long time? few years ago blackberry was a famous OS, but after some few years later the OS perished in smartphone market and it has failed to penetrate the market once again. The android might meet the same fate if another OS emerge into the market with specific unique features, but when?
